Day 1

Congratulations to me! This is my first post for this blog. One of the reasons I have decided to create a blog is to continue to fuel my passion for wedding planning. As I continue to help friends with their weddings I intend to share the secrets of a successful wedding and a few pictures along the way with weddings I have assisted free of charge. Yes, you heard that correctly. FREE of CHARGE. Honestly, I love the word FREE especially when it pertains to anything wedding related. It definitely made me giddy when I was a bride.

So to start off the New Year I thought that I would show brides out there the “ABC’s” of wedding planning. Sorry, I know it’s a bit after the New Year but we are still in January so it still counts, right?

Just kidding. It is now Feburary and I am finally able to put posts up…yikes! Who would of thought a blog would take so much work? And by work I mean having my husband help me build it J

Anyhow, believe me, you will be pinning this in no time! Speaking of Pinterest… I will say I have a pinning problem. In fact, Pinterest sent me an e-mail congratulating me being one of their best pinners. I was not sure if I should have jumped for joy or to cry deeply since I apparently have so much time on my hands. House-wife=free time. I’ve come to terms with it. However, this definitely benefits everyone else and since I am all about weddings it has its own board. There are a ton of ideas that are on my Wedding Board which can be found on this blog, Please, enjoy and if you have any ideas and you would like to share—go for it!

What is the first letter of the alphabet?

“A”

Ask·ing ques·tions!

I put exclamation marks for a reason folks! DO NOT be afraid to ask questions. It saves time, energy, and of course money. Now, if money is not an issue it is still nice to save a couple of bucks. Plus, when brides ask questions it definitely impresses venues. You do not want to have an “OOPSY” moment with a vendor the day of the wedding when you could have asked a question about set-up, etc.

It’s short and sweet with this piece of advice but still important. Asking questions will help, promise.

It’s been lovely,

Lena
